My paintings and sculptures are characterized by the use of symbolic iconography, texture, and fantastic characters.
I explore the concept of storytelling, games, and symbols used as a metaphor to describe the beauty of life. My sculptures tell a story with characters, symbols and haiku poetry; while my paintings are the textured background world where the story is played. Clay and color are my transportation to memories and nostalgia of childhood.
