Textile Passion
It all began when I created my first soft sculpture. I fell in love. The material talks to me. A sip of my soft sculptures made out of fabrics, acrylics, lace, and pure intuition.
Clay Passion
Long, long ago, in an unknown water realm, there lived a girl who dreamt of the City of Colours…
In her dream, she sailed to the city, but when she finally arrived the sun vanished and everything went dark.
The Heroine must wake up and return the sun to the City of Colours.

The Calling
La Heroína (The Heroine)
Haiku:
Sueño domingo (Sunday dream).
La Ciudad de Colores (The City of Colours).
Yo busco El Sol (I search for the sun).
The Heroine was a warrior. “Let the sun come out”, demanded The Heroine, but darkness prevailed in the city. She must return the sun to the City of Colours with her two friends: The Mermaid and The Magician.

La Sirena (The Mermaid)
Haiku:
Seductora es (A seductress).
El laberinto de tí (The labyrinth of you).
El mar entero (The whole sea).
The Mermaid was beautiful. She would seduce you and take everything from you. She enjoyed putting The Heroine to sleep.

El Soñador (The Dreamer)
Haiku:
Sueño de cristal (Crystal dream).
Siglos de otoño son (Autumn centuries).
La verdad es cielo (The truth is sky).
Just beside The Mermaid, The Dreamer would peacefully sleep. The Dreamer had to be careful with what lied behind him.

El Mago (The Magician)
Haiku:
Mira tus manos (Look at your hands).
Héroe que escucha (Hero that listens).
El cosmos en paz (The cosmos in peace).
The Heroine’s ally. He wakes up The Heroine from her sleep and makes her remember to return the sun to the City of Colours. He had a hat full of temptations and tasks to complete. The Heroine decided to search for The Sun.

The Encounter
El Hombre-Soga (The Ropeman)
Haiku:
Sogas en manos (Hands tied with rope).
Nadar al infinito (Swim to the infinite).
Otoño de luz (Autumn light).
The Heroine’s first task: To meet The Ropeman and The Illusionist. They would show the way.
The Ropeman in the Vicious sea asked The Heroine to untie all the knots on his body. The Heroine struggled and almost drowned, but The Flyer arrived to help her. The Ropeman told The Heroine to find The Illusionist’s reflection at the Tenebrous Sea, and then to look deeply into his eyes.

La Voladora (The Flyer)

Las alas fuertes (Strong wings).
En tu corazón nacen (Born in your heart).
Galaxia de tí (Galaxy of you).
The Flyer saved The Heroine from drowning at the Vicious Sea with her beautiful wings.

El Ilusionista (The Illusionist)
Haiku:
Corazón azul (Blue heart).
Declaración de tu ser (Self declaration).
El mar florece (The sea blooms).
The Heroine could not find The Illusionist’s reflection on the Tenebrous Sea, until she realized The Illusionist was her own reflection. Once she saw herself and looked inside her own eyes, creatures started to emerge from the sea. The Damsel assisted The Heroine on escaping.

Miles de flores (A thousand flowers).
La lluvia de estrellas (Star rain).
Creer es volar (Believe is to fly).
The Damsel, courageous and believer, she used the right words for The Heroine to find strength.

The Conquest
El Dragón (The Dragon)
Haiku:
Dulce veneno (Sweet venom).
El fuego del acuerdo (The fire in the agreement).
Mundo del alma (World of the soul).
The second task: To find the The Dragon in the Ferocious Sea, kill him and obtain its heart. A timeless war between The Dragon and The Heroine started. The Whistler, speaking an unknown language, communicated that The Dragon need not be killed. The Heroine came to an eternal agreement with The Dragon.

El vuelo por tí (I fly for you).
Es la señal de radio (The radio signal).
Canción del alma (Song of the soul).
The Whistler spoke an ancient language. He was able to communicate what hearts wanted to say. He helped The Heroine and The Dragon to partner in peace.

El Conectador (The Connector)
Haiku:
La verdad blanca (The white truth).
Te espera el gran sol (The Sun awaits).
Mi eterna paz (My eternal peace).
The third and final task: To meet The Connector and climb the ladder to the skies without falling.
The Connector was found on the Celestial Sea. He advised The Heroine to climb the ladder to the skies very carefully, so she would not fall. At the very end, legend said The Sun could be found, but nobody had gone that far. The Heroine climbed the ladder, while The Mermaid tried to convince her to come back.

The Return
El Sol (The Sun)
Haiku:
Tu amor aquí (Your love is here).
Sonrisa de fin de año (End of year smile).
La Vía Lactea (The Milky Way).
The Heroine climbed and climbed until the very end. The Sun, shining and peaceful, was waiting for The Heroine at the end of the ladder. The Heroine looked at The Sun, and smiled.
It is said that The Heroine returned The Sun to the City of Colours. That she lived there with peace for many years, along with The Magician and all those who helped her. And that she had dreamt the calling of her journey before living it.
